No. 2-1B/26JU
A small saucer in stoneware, glazed in ochre and amber with iron speckling that pools where the glaze runs thick. Two repair lines and one filled chip, done in urushi and finished with bengara, a red iron oxide pigment close in colour to the glaze itself. Unmarked, with no maker or date. Bought secondhand in Seoul, and the glaze technique points to Japan.
