A saucer from Arabia Finland, stoneware banded in brown and black around a cream glaze. Four repair lines run across the face and one filled chip sits at the rim, finished in tin powder rather than gold, with pieces of mother-of-pearl set into the lacquer where two breaks meet. The shell reads green against the tin, and shifts with the light.
