A stoneware bowl with an oval rim, glazed in ochre over an outside combed with close parallel lines. Three repair lines meet in a Y on one side and run down to the foot, with one filled chip at the rim. Done in urushi and finished with bengara, a red iron oxide pigment. Unmarked. Bought in Korea from a seller who sourced ceramics in Japan.
